Vaseline got its start when Robert Chesebrough got wind that oil workers had been using an unrefined form of petroleum jelly to heal wounded and burnt skin.
After figuring out how to refine it into a transparent gel, he patented Vaseline Petroleum Jelly in 1865. Since then, we've been using it for everything from preventing diaper rash to making our very own lip balm!
On Your Razors
Dry off your razor and then rub each blade with Vaseline. Make sure they are completely dry after you wipe the Vaseline off so that your razor doesn't rust!
Make Up Remover
Rub some onto a cotton pad and gently swipe away your makeup. It will remove false eyelash glue and even waterproof mascara!
Who doesn't love a good lip balm? If you're like me, you probably lose them before the tube is finished.
Rather than spending money on buying new ones, why not make your own with some tasty skittles and vaseline?
