Have you ever gone through a drive-through for your morning coffee, or for a quick lunch and gotten to the window to find out the person in front of you paid for your order? Have you ever been the person to start the chain by paying for the person behind you?

I have been on both sides of the situation, more often being the recipient than the other way around. This past Monday a McDonald's in Mississippi saw paying it forward taken to a whole new level, 125 cars in a row paid for the people behind them.  

The manager of that particular McDonald's said that the pay it forward concept happens quite often but they had never seen it get to the level it reached this time usually they might get to 10 straight cars on a good day. But 125 cars, the whole process took roughly an hour until one person stopped the chain.

What's truly amazing is that this is not the record for customers paying it forward. In June of this year, in Indiana, one woman paid for the person behind her in the drive-thru, sparking a string of 167 straight orders being paid for by the person in front.

The smallest act of kindness can go a long way. Think about all the ways that you could pay it forward, it truly does make a huge difference in the lives of some people.
