After His Daughter Shared His Cover Of 'Tennessee Whiskey,' It's Gone Viral

When most parents sing along to the radio their kids cover their ears, but Kris Jones' daughter is obviously proud of his vocal skills.

Last Tuesday, she shared this video of her father doing his own version of "Tennessee Whiskey" by George Jones. You can't blame her for being impressed, Jones has some real talent and doesn't hold back while he's belting out this classic country hit.

The post went viral right away, and so far it's been viewed more than 6 million times. His car might not have great acoustics, but Jones' raw talent shines through in spite of that.

Even if you haven't heard the original version, we're sure you'll love this great cover. It's no wonder Jones' daughter wanted to share this with everyone!

In a more recent video shared on Jones' Facebook page, he thanks everyone who's watched and shared his performance for their support, saying that he's "completely amazed, baffled, knocked off my feet that this thing has done what it's done."

His new cover of the Lynyrd Skynyrd hit "Simple Man" proved that Jones is no one-hit-wonder. Hopefully we get to hear some of his own music soon! If his original songs are half as good as these covers, we're in for a treat.
