Alex Trebek has been a staple in households for years. His calm attitude and ability to feign interest in peoples' mundane stories is second to none.
But it seems Trebek hit a breaking point earlier this week when he was chatting with a contestant.
He's been hosting the award-winning game show for almost 7,000 episodes, which is a Guinness World Record. As such he's come across a lot of people who were...well...interesting.
Usually the veteran host carries himself with dignity, but he apparently had enough after talking to a bookism woman who was just there to have a good time.
Susan Cole, a legislative librarian from Maryland, began to tell Trebek about her love for Nerdcore hip-hop.
"It's people who identify as nerdy rapping about the things they love," she said. "Video games, science-fiction, having a hard time meeting romantic partners. It's really catchy and fun," said Cole.
Trebek seemed hesitant about this new style of music. His response? You'll just have to watch it to see on the next page!
