There's a common notion in Hollywood that celebrities don't have to deal with post-baby body. It seems they have a kid, and 30 minutes later they're posing on the cover of Vogue wearing nothing but grape leaves and looking flawless as ever.
But Hilaria Baldwin, Alec Baldwin's wife, didn't want to continue the misconceptions. 24 hours after giving birth to her 3rd child, the yoga guru posted a picture of her post-baby body on her Instagram account.
Baldwin writes, "It always makes me a bit nervous to do something like this, but I feel that in the age of such strong body shaming, I want to do all that I can to normalize a real body and promote healthy self esteem."
This is not the first time the mom has posted in support of being true to yourself. Baldwin also preached the importance of not showing your children shame.
It's refreshing to see someone in the public eye be so open and free about motherhood and all the not-so-glamorous aspects that may come along with it.
