Baked Kale Chips Are the Yummy, Crispy, Healthy Chip You Can't Resist…and You Don't Have To!

Everyone knows that kale is a mystical superfood sent by the garden gods to make us live forever... but still there is room to be surprised. With this crunchy baked kale chips, I'm not sure which part was more surprising…how yummy they are…or how easy they are to make!

With only three easy-to-find ingredients and three simple steps, my cat could probably make these, and he doesn't even have thumbs - they're that easy. So go ahead, whip up a batch of these if you want to enjoy a yummy, low-calorie chip snack you can feel great about!

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch of kale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • Parmesan for topping, optional

Directions:

Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F. Line a non-insulated cookie sheet with parchment paper. With a knife or kitchen shears carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner.

Bake until the edges brown but are not burnt, 10 to 15 minutes. Garnish with parmesan cheese if desired.
