With all the Christmas dinners coming up, sometimes it can be fun to really go above and beyond with your place settings. Nothing feels fancier and more impressive than a napkin folded into something adorable.
For Christmas, why not fold your cute napkins into little Christmas trees? It doesn't take as long as you might have thought, and really brings your table to the next level. Check out how to do it below!
- Small stars - Optional
Start by folding your napkin in half and then half again so you have a square. Have the edges that can open facing you.
Fold each edge of the napkin back, but not all the way to the top. Leave a bit of space in between.
Flip the napkin over, making sure that your folds stay in. Take one corner and fold it up to the other side of the napkin, then do the same to the other so that you end up with a point on the bottom.
Flip it over so the point you just made is facing up. This will make all the edges you folded before point down, but you are going to start at the top and fold them up, tucking the lower ones into the one above it, all the way to the bottom.
Place your napkin on a plate with a little star if you want! It will really add that little something extra to your decor.
Your guests are going to be so impressed, while there are a lot of steps it is really easy to do! Give your table settings an extra special look this Christmas season!
