Dad Wears A Tutu To His Daughter's Ballet Class For The Most Selfless Reason

At first glance, Thanh Tran, a super-buff dad from Tennessee, has all the markings of a macho man who should not to be messed with. But there is one person that without fail melts his heart - his 8-year-old step-daughter, Adriana Cross.

Adriana has been taking ballet classes for a few years, and earlier this week, the school hosted a parents' night, where she was asked to invite her mom and dad to participate in the class.

Adriana knew her mother, Rebecca, would not be able to plié and sashay around the class because she is seven months pregnant, so she asked her father to accompany her. Of course, he couldn't say no.

"I knew it would bring a lot of joy to my daughter," Thann told People. "Seeing her big smile when I walked in was all worth it."

While Rebecca watched from the sidelines, Thanh put on a black tutu to match the rest of his ensemble, and delivered a hilarious, yet adorable performance on the barre alongside Adriana.

"He stepped up to fill in for me. It was mostly moms participating," said Rebecca, who caught the entire routine on camera. "I loved it! I thought it was very sweet and funny too."

Both Rebecca and Thahn shared photos and footage of the special moment, and people on the internet couldn't help but praise the dad for his selflessness.

Although Thanh was confident enough to rock a tutu, he said that his "dancing needed work."

"It was pretty tough," he admitted. "But we had fun and we all had a good laugh on my expense."

Thanh shared a heartwarming post about his ballet stint on Instagram with the caption, "Dad life 101, you participate in every parent night no matter what it is. Even if it calls for tutu for ballet night. But the look back smile from her made it all worth it. Not gonna lie, my calves and toes were cramping up 😂😂. #dadlife#parentnight#butdidyoudie"

Rebecca later took to Facebook to express how proud she was of her husband for always being there for their daughter.

"Let me just say it's sooooo much more than a man putting on a tutu," she wrote. "He's been in her life since she was 4 years old and she's never been a step-daughter to him. Seeing them together is what made me realize he was the man I was going to marry."

"He has never missed a parent-daughter moment in 4 years. Every field trip, every school activity, every practice, he's been there. Adriana can count on him," she added.

Thanh is without a doubt up for the "dad of the year" title, and by the looks of it, he has a very high chance of winning.
