Did No One Tell Ryan Lochte What Chlorine Does to Bleached Hair?

Ryan Lochte made a name for himself during the 2012 Olympics as the dashingly handsome, yet dangerously dumb, Olympic swimmer. Sure, he won seven Olympic medals in London, but can you really cheer for someone who uses the word "Jeah" as part of his regularly vocabulary? "It's spelled J-E-A-H. If you say it like how it's spelled it's 'jee-ah.' But, that's boring; no one wants to hear that. So you have to really put that emphatis [sic] on that 'J.' And then the 'A-H' kinda just flows." That's a real quote from the man himself.

If that quote isn't enough of a glimpse into his intelligence, here are a few of his best tweets:

Before Rio 2016, Lochte unveiled his new, silver fox look. It's a new trend happening right now that is very hit or miss depending on the person. To be fair, he still looks incredible (despite the pants matching his hair).

But, shocker, Ryan was unaware of a very simple hair care rule: chlorine + bleached hair = disastrous. It's still hard to believe that no one in his immediate circle thought to mention it to him, but at the same time they probably just wanted to see what happened. And happen it did.

Yikes. I guess he still looks better than the majority of people. Plus his Olympic success and copious amounts of money probably soothe the pain a bit. But come on. This is just ridiculous. It looks like even Michael Phelps finds it hilarious.

Oh, well. Live and learn. Or I guess in the sake of Ryan Lochte, live and do it again next time because you didn't remember what happened this time. We'll leave you in the words of the big man himself.
