Did A Legendary Sea Monster Just Wash Up On Shore?

The sea is dark and full of terrors, that is just a well known fact. There are so many terrifying creatures that are completely insane looking or just plain horrifying. On February 22, 2017, one of these creepy creatures washed onto shore and rightfully freaked out everyone.

For many years cryptozoologists have been speculating of the existence of the "Trunko", a giant creature that preys on killer whales and other large sea creatures. They were first "spotted" in 1924 with limited sightings over the years.

Now, one of these trunko sea creatures has apparently washed up onto the beach in the Philippines.

Whether it is one of these mythical beasts or just a sea cow as several scientist believe, the people who live on Dinagat Island are worried.

Apparently the appearance of such a strange creature is a sign of the end times.

The photos went viral with everyone trying to speculate what it was. People of course went to the more unusual suggestions, sharing the drawings that show how the trunko attacks.

The carcass measures 15 feet long and the agriculture office is looking into the cause of death and also to confirm the species. They believe it is just a sea cow but I guess we will have to wait to find out!

What do you think? Is it a sea cow like they claimed or is it something a bit more mythical?

Let us know what you think it is in the comments!
