Disabled Girl Walks For First Time In 9 Years, Thanks To A 'Living Crutch'

Bella Burton was born with Morquio Syndrome, a rare  genetic condition that affects her bone growth and inhibits her mobility.

For nine years, she was forced to walk with crutches and couldn't participate in the simplest of things like walking to and from class without assistance. She was forced to use wheelchairs, walkers, and crutches to get around.

But, then, she met George:

After multiple surgeries and therapy over the years, and with George's help, she is finally able to walk, ride a bike and even go to the mall!

The 131-pound Great Dane has been honored with the Award for Canine Excellence by the American Kennel Club for the amazing work he's done with Bella.
