Dunkin' Donuts, America's beloved fast food chain that offers the most scrumptious donuts and beverages, has been playing with our hearts since last year.
For 2018, the coffee giant decided to remove 10 favorites from its menu, and its got some people shaking their heads in disappointment.
In August 2017, they were thinking of changing the brand name to just Dunkin'.
We get it, they do more than sell donuts, but how could they even consider changing a classic name? Unfortunately, it's probably going to happen.
"While we remain the number one retailer of donuts in the country, as part of our efforts to reinforce that Dunkin' Donuts is a beverage-led brand and coffee leader, we will be testing signage in a few locations that refer to the brand simply as 'Dunkin'," the company told CNBC.
People weren't crazy about the name change, but all those cries of woe soon got drowned out after the fast food giant scaled back on its donut selection, removing 30 flavors to 18.
"We've shrunk the amount of doughnut variety, and we're seeing a lift in those markets instantly," Dunkin' Donuts' U.S. and Canada brand president David Hoffmann told Nations's Restaurant News.
Now some more favorites are getting the boot...
Dunkin' Donuts is really striving to up the quality of their fast food chain. The news of its menu change comes on the heels of the company announcing that they're eliminating artificial dyes from all beverages and food items by the end of 2018.
The next time you go to Dunkin' Donuts, you'll see that 10 items are dropped from its menu.
The move to a smaller menu is hoped to result in "faster, more accurate service and a more consistent consumer experience from store to store," a statement from Dunkin' Donuts said.

- Ham & Cheddar Sandwich
- Tuna Salad Sandwich
- Chicken Salad Sandwich
- Big N' Toasted Breakfast Sandwich
- Angus Steak & Egg Breakfast Sandwich
- Strawberry Banana and Tropical Mango Smoothies
- Peach, Caramel, and Mocha unsweetened flavor shots
- Flatbread
- And a selection of bagels, muffins, and cream cheese flavors that haven't yet been announced.
