Gourmet Hot Chocolate 4 Ways

Upgrade classic hot chocolate with just a few, simple ingredients.

When your sweet tooth cravings kick in, reach for a warm cup of gourmet hot chocolate rather than a chocolate bar or a bag of candies.

All it takes is a good bar of baking chocolate or some chocolate chips plus these simple ingredients and you've got gourmet goodness in a matter of minutes!

Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract

Directions:

1. On medium-high heat, pour whole milk, chocolate chips and peppermint extract into a pot.

2. Stir until chocolate has completely melted and milk bubbles.

3. Serve in mugs and enjoy!

Orange Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:

  • 1 c milk
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon of orange zest
  • 2 ounces of dark chocolate

Directions:

1. On medium-high heat, pour milk, sugar, orange zest and dark chocolate into a pot.

2. Stir ingredients until chocolate has completely melted and milk bubbles.

3. Pour into a mug and enjoy!                                      ‌

Milk Chocolate & Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 ounces milk chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

Directions:

1. On medium-high heat, pour skim milk, heavy cream, milk chocolate and creamy peanut butter into a pot.

2. Stir ingredients until chocolate has completely melted and milk bubbles.

3. Pour into a mug and enjoy!

Caramel Hot Chocolate    

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 5 ounces milk chocolate chopped
  • 3 tablespoons caramel sauce

Directions

1. Heat the milk and cream in a pan with the chocolate and caramel sauce.

2. Stir until chocolate is melted and bubbly.

3. Pour into a mug to serve.
