Grandson Holds 4 Men at Gunpoint To Help Couple in Their 80s

When 4 men entered the home of an elderly couple in their 80's, their grandson arrived and held them at gunpoint until police showed up.

"Grandparents are all you got. They pick up the phone to say to come. You come," Nathan Wimbrow, grandson of the couple, said.

Nathan and a neighbor, Michael Williams, held Mark Mahaffey, Brandon Garner, Javier Meniovich and Fred Jones at gunpoint in the couples driveway of their South Carolina home.

"It's just what you do for those who you really love," Williams said.

The incident report shows that the 4 men went into the couple's home and tried to convince them that they knew them. The couple that has lived in that home for more than 20 years said they did not know the men.

They called their grandson before deputies arrived.

"We're law-abiding citizens that have the right to carry our weapons and I'm glad I had mine that day," Wimbrow said.

Statements given by the 4 men did not match, so it was unclear why they were there in the first place.

The men were arrested and charged with breach of peace for disturbing the homeowners and multiple neighbors.
