Grapefruit Castile Fruit and Veggie Wash Easily Wipes Away Grime

That apple in your hand might look shiny and clean, but in reality it's teeming with potentially harmful germs, mold, pesticides, fertilizers and wax - yuck! This recipe for Grapefruit Castile Fruit and Veggie Wash will be your go-to cleaner when you're looking to get rid of all that nasty grime hiding on your fresh produce.

For leafy greens and herbs, spray with the veggie wash and gently tousle with your hands to spread the mixture throughout the leaves. After the leaves have been coated, submerge them in cold water, drain in a colander and dry using a paper towel.

For firm fruits and veggies, spray with the wash and rub thoroughly into the skin. Rinse well with cold water.

For soft fruits and veggies, spray with the wash and place in a mixing bowl. Add enough water to cover the fruit and gently stir with your hands. Place the produce in a colander and rinse well with cold water.
