H&M's New Denim Collection Is Unique For A Special Reason

Swedish fashion chain H&M is continually changing the fashion game with it's affordable, innovative and quality clothing.

The company proved that it is always one step ahead when it launched its sustainable Conscious Collection in 2011. Fast forward to 6 years later and H&M is once again using it's clothes to make a positive difference.

The company is making fashion inclusive by releasing its first ever unisex denim collection! The Demin United collection aims to challenge traditional norms and gender stereotypes with materials and silhouettes that don't conform to any specific gender.

"It is very natural for us to launch a unisex collection as fashion is constantly evolving and intersecting and today we see there are no boundaries in democratic style. Fashion should always be inclusive," says Marybeth Schmitt, H&M Spokesperson in a press release.

Every item in the collection is made with sustainable  materials like organic and recycled cotton. The line will feature both casual and workwear items including classic jeans, dresses, jackets, overalls, shorts in a range of washes. You'll be able to easily mix and match pieces from the collection with things you already have in your wardrobe to create a "normcore" look.

Denim United will be available exclusively online at hm.com on March 23rd with prices ranging from $20 to $50.
