Aliens, Pumpkins and Mummies Oh My! Three Ways To Make Halloween Themed Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Chocolate covered pretzels are always a crowd pleaser. Why not tailor your classic treat to match your Halloween party theme?

We tried out three different styles so you can see how easy it is to make adorable and delicious snacks. We made pumpkins, mummies and aliens! Pick your favorite or make all three! No matter which one they are definitely going to impress your guests.

Ingredients:

Mummies:

  • Mini pretzels
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate, melted
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • Candy eyeballs
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate, melted

Aliens:

  • Mini pretzels
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate, melted
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • green food coloring
  • orange food coloring
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate, melted
  • Green candy eyeballs

Pumpkins:

  • Mini pretzels
  • Green M&M's
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate, melted
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • orange food coloring
  • Aliens:

Directions:

Mummies:

Melt your white chocolate with your coconut oil in a microwave safe dish, stirring occasionally until smooth.

Dip your mini pretzels into the chocolate and place on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.

Add candy eyes to the mummies.

Put the 1/4 white chocolate into a pastry bag and drizzle it across the entire pretzel.

Let chill in the refrigerator until chocolate is hardened.

Aliens:

Melt your chocolate and coconut oil until smooth, then mix a few drops of green food coloring, adding more until you get to the color you want.

Dip your pretzels in the mixture and place on wax paper on a cookie sheet. Melt the 1/4 chocolate and add orange food coloring, and add it onto your pretzel.

Place a green candy eye on top of the orange chocolate.

Refrigerate until chocolate hardens.
