He Took A Selfie Every Day For 8 Years, So You Can Watch Him Grow Up Before Your Eyes

When Hugo Cornellier was just 12 years old, he had an idea that would change his life. The young boy from Montreal, Canada took a photo of himself using his computer, then did the same thing the next day.

Day after day, Cornellier took a photo of himself, keeping the same expression so that one day he could seamlessly edit all the photos together.

The project, which he spent 8 1/2 years on, finished with this incredible video compilation. In just 2 minutes you can watch Hugo grow up, graduate high school and get into university, along with every important milestone in between.

Cornellier, who says he's become "obsessed" with selfies since he started the project, only missed 70 days between age 12 and age 20.

"I would take my laptop everywhere my family went," he told the Daily Mail.

"Whether it was a holiday or to visit family for a few days, I always had to take my photo every single day, no matter what."

It's an impressive video, but Cornellier's favorite part is watching what happens in the background.

Important people from his life, including some ex-girlfriends, come and go, but his family ages alongside him.

Sharp-eyed viewers can catch glimpses of his parents throughout the years, and his sister transforms from age 6 to age 14 throughout the video.
