He Was Yelled At By A Customer, But Then He Got A Note

Raise your hand if you've ever been rude to a cashier or server? If all of your hands aren't up, you're lying.

It's just the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. It doesn't mean you're a bad person, but sometimes we forget that the people working the cash or making our food are only human.

For one woman, she had such an incident with her Starbucks barista one morning.

The woman was short and rude with the barista and shift, but once some time had passed she realized it was, in fact, her who had the issue.

The woman, Debbie, decided she needed to do something about her actions.

"A woman came through the drive thru yesterday and got a little irritated with me because we didn't have drink carriers....

The barista posted the card online with the caption:

"A woman came through the drive thru yesterday and got a little irritated with me because we didn't have drink carriers. Today, she came back and handed me this:

'Greetings Starbucks Barista!

Yesterday at your drive thru we had a less then cheerful encounter. At no fault of yours, you were out of carriers and said you could not take my empty cup (trash). I was less than understanding and my manner was curt. I need to apologize. The thought of leaving a trail of unkindness like that is so not the path I want to reflect, not for you, not for me.

You are a young man, clearly working hard to build a future and you should be commended. Keep up your attitude of cheer & hope. Stay hopeful no matter what kind of people cross your path (or drive thru :) ) Surely, God has good blessings in store. You taught this ole lady something yesterday about kindness, compassion and staying humble. I thank you! God bless you today and all your todays. Debbie"

Inside, there was a $50 bill.

People are loving this woman's incredible act of kindness and her desire to not leave a "trail of unkindness." What's even more special is that the woman herself didn't post it online to go viral, as many people do. She did it out of the goodness of her heart.

As someone who worked full-time retail for many years, this type of person was always my favorite. Someone who acknowledges the fault and does their best to correct it.
