After losing touch with family members, it can be hard to find a way to reconnect. This challenge becomes even more difficult if you are living on the streets.
That's where Miracle Messages comes in.
This volunteer based program uses a team of people to help homeless people record messages to their families and reconnect them. Using social media, volunteers post the messages strategically in different groups or pages that could know how to reach the family members. Once found, the offer is extended for them to record a message back. A phone call is initiated, and often times it leads to an in-person reunion.
Check out the video below. Founder Kevin Adler gives a lot of insight in to how the project works and how it's helping people everywhere.
