One traveler with a big heart, changed the life of a young boy with a simple act of kindness.
A 14-year-old boy was selling flowers and asking for spare change outside a shopping mall in Manila when a foreigner noticed that he wasn't wearing shoes.
He took the boy into the mall's Nike store and let the teen shop for a new pair of shoes. The store's Assistant Supervisor Ahyan Yerro shared the story and pictures on this Facebook page to inspire others about the impact random acts of kindness make.
The tourist let the Warren, the 14-year-old boy from Pasig City pick out any shoes in the store he wanted. At first, workers reported that the teen was shy, and refused new shoes because he feared that other boys would get jealous and steal them.
Warren ended up picking out a new pair of running shoes and once he put them on, his face brightened, according to store staff.
Yerro also said that the man also bought food for the boy and asked where he could buy new clothes.

After Yerro made this post on Facebook, she received a message from the kind stranger thanking him for sharing these moments, and asking to remain anonymous.
He shared his experience buying clothing for the boy at the department store in the mall with her. "There were 8 people that helped Warren find clothes. He looked amazing when he walked out and had a smile from ear to ear," he said.
He also added in the message to her, "This is how we can make the world a better place."
