If You're A Smoker, You Need To Do This To Clean Your Lungs

In case you were unaware, smoking is terrible and can kill you. Not sure if you've heard.

Cancer, hypertension, strokes, heart disease, bronchitis, erectile dysfunction, eye problems: all caused by smoking. The CDC says more than 16 million people in the United States live with health problems that can be directly linked to smoking.

Once you quit, your chances of getting one of these illnesses drops drastically. It doesn't mean that all the crap in your lungs has left, though. There's still years of build up sitting in your body that will make you feel gross.

Luckily, there's an easy mixture that will help cleanse your lungs of these toxins and make you feel way better!

You'll need:

  • 2 tbps turmeric
  • thumb sized piece of ginger
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 3/4 cups white sugar
  • 1L of water

Pour the water and sugar together into a pot and heat until boiling. Slice the onion into quarter, chop the ginger, and add them to the pot while still boiling. Add the turmeric and lower the heat. Keep heating the mixture until it has reduced by half. Let the mixture cool in the fridge.

Take 2 tbsp of the mixture every morning on an empty stomach and 2 tbsp before you go to bed. You should feel a difference within two days!

Turmeric: known as an anti-cancer, high in omega 3 fatty acids, rich in vitamins and minerals

Onions: boost your immune system, also known for its anti-cancer properties

Ginger: removes mucus from lungs
