If you're almost achieved your goal-weight, but been battling those final pesky pounds, then tea might be the answer to your problems.
There are many health benefits to a good cup of tea. We already know that green tea has reviving antioxidants, that matcha and peppermint are also helpful for weight loss too.
But, did you know that there's another tasty tea that can help you shed a few off the scale?
Bernadine Tay, tea curator for Wedgwood, told Popsugar that White tea actually has this lesser-known benefit in it's repertoire of helpful health effects.
"White tea actually stops new fat cells from forming," Tay explained. This has been proven in multiple studies including one published in the Nutrition & Metabolism journal.
By drinking just a few cups of white tea a day, you will see weight loss results. Not that it's a miracle cure, you'll still have to maintain healthy diet and exercise.
White tea also goes through less processing than green and black tea varieties. Like it's green tea cousin, white tea is also rich in antioxidants.
