Jogger Miraculously Survives Vicious Kangaroo Attack After Being Tossed Around Like 'Rag Doll'

According to Australia's 9News report, a 54-year-old woman was brutally attacked by a large buck kangaroo during her morning jog.

Debbie Urquhart had just started her morning jog near Watties Road in Templestowe, when she found herself face-to-face with an enraged, male kangaroo, hell-bent on having a boxing match.

The personal trainer and former body-building champion was no match for a wild buck. Although she attempted to defend herself, she was repeatedly knocked to the ground and kicked "like a rag doll" with his sharp claws.

Even though she tried to crawl away and scream, the roo just kept kicking. Her only option left for the desperate mother of two was to play dead.

Her instinct was right and eventually the buck hopped away. She was able to catch her wind under a bush and then walk home, 500 meters away.

She was rushed to the hospital in Melbourne where went into emergency surgery and received 35 stitches for her trouble. Thankfully she survived and is expected to make a full recovery.

Urquhart's reaction was probably the safest one a person can take under the circumstances. It's highly unadvisable to actually enter into a fight with a full grown male kangaroo. Although, this crazy guy took a swing and won.
