These are perfect for those frosty days when you have to go out and wait at the bus stop or walk to the office. Quick to make and has inexpensive materials. Everyone you know is going to want you to make them a set!
- Old Flannel shirt or small piece of flannel fabric
- Thread & Sewing Needle
- Rice or Barley
Start by trimming out four small squares of equal size from an old flannel shirt (or from the fabric of your choice).
Take two of the squares and start to sew them together, but leave a corner open.
Use a small funnel to fill your little pocket full of rice or barley.
Stitch the rest of the hand warmer closed.
Heat the warmer up in the microwave for about 30 seconds before you need it, and it will stay good and toasty for you!
Stick these in your pockets and you won't have to deal with freezing fingers anymore!
