Days are getting longer and warmer, and none of us want to give up our coffee come the summer months. What if you can't handle a steaming cuppa when the heat is already stifling?

Dunkin' Donuts to the rescue! The popular coffee chain has a ton of cool caffeinated options for you to enjoy. You can go for a classic ice coffee, or try their brand new summer beverage for 2017: Frozen Coffee.

The new drink is replacing the current Coffee Coolatta, which is a mocha beverage heavy on the cream, calories, and sugar. Dunkin' Donuts Frozen Coffee is a healthier option for those wishing to cut the calories.  

While not everyone was happy about the replacement, Frozen Coffee is part of a movement towards more classic beverages. Instead of the milkshake-like Coolatta, Frozen Coffee is made with a lot of ice and blended into a "coffee slushie." For added flavor, you can order a shot of caramel, french vanilla, hazelnut, or mocha. If you want an unsweetened option, you can choose toasted almond, coconut, blueberry, or raspberry.

"This is the frozen beverage for people who love coffee," said a Dunkin' representative. "With Frozen Dunkin' Coffee, we've captured the same taste and quality that millions of Dunkin' Donuts guests enjoy each day, now blended frozen."

Although the new drink is available on May 1st, participating locations will be offering free Frozen Coffee on May 19, 2017 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. No coupon required! Just show up and ask for your free coffee.
