If you're a makeup junkie then you'll want to know about the exciting news M.A.C Cosmetics just announced! The popular beauty brand is partnering up with Ulta Beauty to make your favourite products more accessible.
Up until now, M.A.C products could only be found in brick-and-mortar stores, online, and at major department stores like Macy's and Nordstrom. But, starting this May you'll be able to shop the makeup products online at Ulta.com and by June you'll be able to find them in 25 locations across the nation!
David Kimbell, chief merchandising and marketing officer at Ulta told WWD that they just delivered what people have been asking for a while, "MAC has consistently been one of the most requested brands by our guests, so we know when we bring it in as the number-one prestige makeup brand — a uniquely positioned strong brand proposition — our guests are going to respond very favorably to it. It’ll help us reach and better serve customer groups and audiences that are important to us, Millennials and ethnically diverse consumers."
You'll soon never have to worry about braving mall crowds just to snag your favourite Studio Fix foundation lipstick.
Ulta will carry the coveted Studio Fix Fluid and Powder foundation along with Studio Waterweight, Prolongwear Nourishing Waterproof foundation and the upcoming Next to Nothing. They collection will also include lipsticks from the Lipglasss, Liptensity and Retromatte ranges. You'll also be able to find "Little Mac" trial or travel-sized products for fraction of the price of the full-sized.
If you don't spot M.A.C products at your nearest Ulta when June rolls around, don't worry! According to Karen Buglisi Weiler, MAC global brand president, "by the end of the year, MAC is expected to be in more than 100 Ulta stores."
