Directions

For the Caterpillar

  1. Skewer your grapes (we used about 8 for one caterpillar).
  2. Stick your candy eyes to the first grape in the skewer using icing gel.
  3. Use the black icing gel to draw a smile on your caterpillar's face.

For the Butterfly

  1. Spread peanut butter into a 3-4" long piece of celery.
  2. Stick two pretzels into the peanut butter (these will be the wings for your butterfly).
  3. Stick two candy eyes into the peanut butter at the front of the stalk of celery.

For the Ladybug

  1. Place a piece of cheese on a round cracker.
  2. Cut a cherry or grape tomato in half and place on the cracker (these will be your ladybug's wings).
  3. Cut a black olive in half and place on the cracker (this will be the head of the ladybug).
  4. Using black icing gel, stick your candy eyes on the olive to form your critter's face.
  5. Create black dots on the wings of your ladybug using black icing gel.
