Materials Needed:

  • 4 oz White glue
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • Balloon
  • Plastic wrap
  • Jute twine
  • Tape
  • Paintbrush

Directions:

After you have blown up a balloon to the size you would like your twine ball to be, then wrap it in plastic wrap.

Tape one end of the twine to the balloon, and start to wrap it around. Go around several times, making sure to go in all different directions securing it at the end.

In a bowl, mix together your glue with the cornstarch and water using a whisk until it is smooth.

Then, using a paintbrush, paint a good layer all over the twine, making sure to coat everything. Let dry.
