Marathon Mom Casually Pumps Breast Milk Mid Race, No Big Deal.

If someone told you, 20 years ago, that the the world would start using the word Mom in tandem with "bad ass," you might have laughed. It was a well known secret among moms that they obviously were superheroes, I mean, they save the day - EVERY day.

Now, thanks to social media, photographic evidence of these iron maidens in motion just proves what every mother already knows: they rock. Earlier this week, we introduced you to this amazing Doctor Mom, now let us present Marathon Mom.

She is a BOSS.

Anna Young ran a marathon 5 months after giving birth to her daughter. That day of the race, she woke before 4:30 in the morning, nursed her new baby and was ready to race by 6:45 a.m. What.The. Heck. Amazing!

She ran 8 miles, pumped and then finished the race, after which, she nursed again.  Listen, ladies, don't let anyone tell you what you can, or can't do with your body - or as a mother. These women are absolute proof that anything is possible! Check out her post on Occupy Breastfeeding here.

Anna, we salute you!
