Print Recipe

Personal trifles and cheesecakes are my absolute favorite, especially when they come in a mason jar! You can lid it up for later or enjoy as many as you want right away!

Though this might look like candy corn, it most definitely isn't. This creamy colorful layered cheesecake is a show stopper for sure! oh ,did I mention there's no baking needed! Give these as party favors by putting the lid on!

Ingredients:

For the crust:

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • ¼ cup butter, melted

For the yellow layer:

  • 1 package vanilla instant pudding
  • 2 cups milk
  • Yellow food coloring

For the orange layer:

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 ounces Cool Whip, thawed
  • Orange food coloring
  • Cool Whip or whipped cream, thawed
  • Halloween sprinkles, optional
  • Candy corn candies

Directions:

For the crust:

  1. In a medium bowl, stir together the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until well-combined. Add 2 tablespoons of crumbs into each mason jar, pressing down firmly. Chill in the refrigerator 30 minutes.

For the yellow layer:

  1. Whisk together the vanilla instant pudding and milk in a medium bowl, then add yellow food coloring and mix until desired shade has been reached. Pipe or scoop mixture into the mason jars to the halfway point as the next layer. Place mason jars in the refrigerator until the orange layer is ready to be scooped in.

For the orange layer:

  1. In another medium bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add in the sour cream and vanilla extract, beating until well-combined, then gently fold in the Cool Whip. Add orange food coloring and mix together until the desired shade has been reached. Transfer to a piping bag or scoop into mason jars as next layer, filling almost to the top.

To serve:

  1. Top mason jars with a dollop of Cool Whip or whipped cream, then add a candy corn and halloween sprinkles on top. Enjoy!
