Mia Farrow Accused Of Brainwashing and Abusing Her Son

In 1992, Mia Farrow accused Woody Allen of molesting their adopted daughter, Dylan, amidst their nasty divorce and custody battle.

Allen denied the allegations and an official investigation turned up empty, so he was never charged with the crimes.

Over a decade later, in 2014, Dylan herself went public with claims of molestation against her father. The open letter was published by Nicholas Kristof in his New York Times blog, and was even backed up by Dylan's brother Ronan. But once again, Allen insisted that the claims were false.

All the while, Farrow's name was in the clear - until now. In a new book about Allen's career, another one of their kids, Moses, is making some serious allegations against his mother.

Moses, who has always voiced support for his father despite his siblings's accusations, made the claims in an interview for Eric Lax's new book Start to Finish: Woody Allen and the Art of Movie Making.

Excerpts from the book were obtained by The New York Times and it contains numerous instances in which Moses says Farrow brainwashed her children, and was emotionally and physically abusive.

Moses, who is now estranged from his mother, revealed that Farrow was very manipulative and found ways to get her children to do whatever she wanted them to.

"Now that I no longer live in fear of her rejection, I am free to share how she cultivated and brainwashed me," said Moses.

This isn't the first time that Moses has spoken out about his family's issues. In a 2014 interview with People Magazine, he placed blame on his mother for turning his siblings against their father.

"My mother drummed it into me to hate my father for tearing apart the family and sexually molesting my sister," Moses explained. "And I hated him for her for years. I see now that this was a vengeful way to pay him back for falling in love with Soon-Yi."

He also defended Allen against Dylan's allegations saying, "Of course Woody did not molest my sister. She loved him and looked forward to seeing him when he would visit. She never hid from him until our mother succeeded in creating the atmosphere of fear and hate towards him."

He continued, "I don't know if my sister really believes she was molested or is trying to please her mother. Pleasing my mother was very powerful motivation because to be on her wrong side was horrible."

Farrow has responded to the Times article denying the horrible claims Moses has made while expressing her heartbreak over the situation.

"Moses has cut off his entire family including his ex-wife who was pregnant when he left," Farrow said in a statement to the newspaper. "It's heartbreaking and bewildering that he would make this up, perhaps to please Woody. We all miss and love him very much."

Dylan, on the other hand, hasn't made any comments on these new allegations, but at the time when she made the accusations against Allen, she insisted that her mother "never coached her."

"She never planted false memories in my brain," Dylan continued. "My memories are mine. I remember them. She was distraught when I told her. When I came forward with my story she was hoping against hope that I had made it up."

Allen has also remained quiet since Moses went public with this story.

More details about Moses's claims are available in the book which was released in early October and currently available on Amazon.com.
