Miraculous Moment Captured In Mexico When Villagers Notice A 300-Year-Old Statue Move Its Head

Do you believe there is a greater power? Recently, there have been many mysterious incidents reported, including the crying blood statue and eye-opening icon of the crucified Savior. What do you think of it all? This next one will leave you scratching your head.

The unusual scene occurred at the church of Santa Ana in Tepetitlan, Mexico, during a service on Good Friday.

The incident, which was captured in a video, has been called a "miracle" by villagers and prompted questions of what it all meant.

While people looked on in awe, the 300-year-old statue figure of Christ on the cross appeared to move its head from side to side.  

"He wants to tell us something, he wants something from us," said Estela Gomez, a witness.

Another witness said: "This could be a miracle."

Needless to say, the video went viral and people everywhere are both skeptical and inspired.

The parish priest, Juan Antonio Guerra Lule, had something different to say. Although he witnessed the whole thing, he doesn't think it was a miracle.

Instead, he claimed it was "something beautiful that happened during the Seven World sermon during mass."

He explained that it's tradition the statue is kept in a glass coffin throughout the year, and affixed to the cross during the Good Friday celebrations. The priest suspected that the "fur ropes" attaching the statue to the wooden cross gave away a little, and that's why the head appeared to nod.

"It is a natural movement, it is normal," he said.
