No, this is not a joke.
A woman in Ohio has decided that the only way her living room will stay clean is if she completely closes the room off to her family.
Michele Keylor cleaned the room to her satisfaction and then taped it off, placing a "CLOSED" note in front.
Keylor's son, Nick Denbow, posted the note on Twitter and it instantly went viral.
Those are some pretty strict guidelines. The "Queen of the Castle" says she closed it down because she was tired of cleaning up after her sons' messes. Denbow says he actually finds it kind of funny.
"Mom and I find it really funny, but I think my brother's a little irritated that he can't watch TV," he laughed.
Apparently, even the dogs are staying out.
"There's no barricade or anything to keep them out," he said. "It's just like they know to stay out."
People are LOVING this idea. They all think it's a great and stand by the mom's decision.
Nick Denbow says the room probably won't be closed off for the ENTIRE month.
"She's mostly joking about 'closing' it," he laughed. "She just wants us to keep it clean and decided that putting a sign and tape up would make that clear."
