Monica's Perfect Pizza Tarts are super tasty and loaded with toppings. These are great for people with hectic schedules, kids, or even as a party treat to feed a crowd! Monica herself mentioned that when making these she "only had a few ingredients at home for dinner that day...and it would be great to make as well as convenient to do."

- 8 puff pastry shells
- Half a pound of ground meat
- ⅓ cup marinara or pizza sauce
- 16 slices of mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup velveeta cheese, grated
- 8 slices of pepperoni
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- Salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Place shells in the oven to cook for about 7-10 minutes, or until starting to turn golden brown.
While shells are in the oven, brown your ground meat in a small or medium pan. Add seasoning and remove from heat once cooked through.
Spoon a little bit of marinara or pizza sauce into baked puff pastry shells.
Add velveeta to each shell, then a spoonful of cooked ground meat.
Add a bit more pizza sauce, then top with a slice of pepperoni.
Criss-cross two mozzarella slices on each shell.
Bake shells for 5-10 minutes in the oven (or until cheese has melted), then serve.
