News Anchor Tells Viewers To Do Something Strange On Live TV

If you were watching the morning news in Richmond, Virginia, you probably heard NBC 12 anchor, Eric Philips accidentally tell everyone to do something a little strange.

The split second flub, became a hilarious lesson on the importance of spelling. As he read the news with a straight face, it only took him seconds to realize the mistake he had just made.

The broadcast was about a recall of rice cookers. Rather than telling viewers to check their PANTRIES, he told them to check their panties.
