When you want a tasty cookie but don't feel like turning on the oven, these No Bake Salted Caramel Macaroons are the perfect blend of coconut and caramel.
They are such an easy recipe that you could make them in no time. Everyone is going to love these and so are you!
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 6 tablespoons salted butter
- 11 ounce bag of caramels (about 40 individual caramels)
- 4 cups shredded sweetened coconut
- 4 ounces melting chocolate
- Sea salt (optional)
Add your milk to a sauce pan over a medium heat.
Add the butter and the caramel and stir until all the caramels are melted.
Once melted, add in the shredded coconut and fold it in until it is all coated in caramel.
Scoop out tablespoon sized spoonfuls and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Once they have hardened, melt your chocolate and dip each macaroon into it coating part of it.
If you want to add some sea salt on top, sprinkle it onto it now. Let the chocolate harden then enjoy!
