Panda Express is introducing a cutlery game changer. If you're like me and can't use chopsticks to save your life, worry no more. There's a new kid in town and it's called the chork. The chopstick-fork hybrid is the perfect combination. It also looks super easy to use. Lisa Jennings, the West Coast bureau chief for Nation's Restaurant News broke the story on Twitter. Though it hasn't yet been confirmed by Panda Express themselves, it seems like a pretty good possibility we could be seeing these relatively soon.
Check out this handy diagram to see how you would use them.
This could be a crazy step forward in the restaurant industry. Not only would it be more accessible to customers, but it also could cut down on waste. Only having to have one utensil instead of 2 could save a lot of money and confusion for people having to specify how they want to eat their meal. Not to mention it will spare me the embarassment of having to reveal the only way I can use chopsticks is to spear my food with them.
What do you think? Smart invention or cheap cop-out?
