Emma Tapping has been hit with a huge wave of criticism after she posted a picture of her Christmas tree on Facebook.
Not a huge deal right? Wait until you see what's under it.
Under Tapping's tree is a pile of gifts almost as tall as the tree itself. There are more than 300 gifts stacked on top of each other.
People were none too impressed with Tapping's post, calling her materialistic, accusing her of "bragging", and calling her downright disgusting for spoiling her kids that much.
"Just remember, there are a lot of children who won't get much," wrote one person.
But Emma Tapping wasn't about to let online bullies sway her opinion.
"I LOVE Christmas I LOVE spoiling my kids in the festive season and I work damn hard to make sure it is every bit as amazing as it can be," she wrote. "I wouldn't let anybody tell me how to spend my Christmas with my children. Who doesn't want to make their child smile at Christmas?"
Emma confesses that most of the presents go to her daughters (85 each) and her sons get 30 each. She shops all year long, looking for bargains. By the end of the of it all, the generous mom has spent around $2000.
Do you think this is an excessive amount of gifts? Or should people just mind their own business?
