Family Left In Hysterics After Photographer Sends Back Edited Photos

When was the last time you had family photos professionally taken? I can remember sitting down with my grandparents and cousins about 20 years ago for a staged photo shoot and that's about it. There's pictures of us, of course. But we never paid a professional to come and do portraits.

That's why when you shell out the money for a photographer to take staged photos for you, it's reasonable to expect the shots will be professional quality.

The Zarings learned the hardway that this isn't always the case.

Pam and Dave Zaring, a couple from St. Louis, were contacted by Lesa Hall who marketed herself as an experienced, professional photographer. Hall was offering her services at a relatively low price, so the Zarings decided to give it a shot.

The family paid $250 for the portraits taken in Forest Park, and eight months later they received the final product. But when the Zarings opened the images, they went into hysterics.

Pam and Dave posted about their experience on Facebook, and it's gone completely viral.

"Ok. This is NOT a joke. We paid a photographer, who claimed to be a professional, $2-250 for a family photo shoot. Please see these FOR REAL photos she delivered to us....she said the shadows were really bad on the beautiful, clear, sunny day and that her professor never taught her to retouch photos. Feel free to share 😂😂😂 I literally have not laughed this hard in YEARS!!!!! You can't make this stuff up...again, this is NOT a joke - final product 🤣"

The post has been shared over 350,000 times, with some people saying it must be a joke. Pam and Dave say it's the real deal.

"Girl, these aren't even a joke. She stands by her work!" they wrote on Facebook. They also reminded people to keep things light-hearted.

"Also putting this out there!! Please continue to keep this fun and silly, and be kind. In no way is this post meant to be vicious. It was worth the money we spent for the humor we received!!!! I hope y'all have laughed as hard as we have!!!!"
