Appetizers are arguably the most important part of any meal. It can't be too heavy or else the entree will be ruined, but it also can't be too light because then what's the point?
These prosciutto-wrapped sweet peppers are an ideal finger food to start off any meal, or to bring to a party where it's all appetizer foods.
They're easy, quick, and definitely tasty!
- 10-15 sweet small sweet peppers
- One 8 oz package cream cheese
- 1/4 cup kalamata olives, chopped
- 1 package prosciutto
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Cut the peppers in half, length wise.
Whip the cream cheese for about 10 minutes until it becomes softer. Fold in the olives.
Stuff one side of a pepper with cream cheese, place the other half on top and wrap a long piece of prosciutto around the pepper.
Place on a cookie sheet and bake them for about 15 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
