We all know more about Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag than we'd probably care to admit. The former stars of MTV's The Hills haven't left the spotlight, even though the show has long since been cancelled.
In 2006, Heidi Montag was just a 20-year-old woman looking to make it big. She befriended Lauren Conrad, and the two became roommates staring in the MTV show. Montag also began dating Spencer Pratt, who ultimately ended the friendship between her and Conrad.
Heidi and Spencer, also known as Speidi, became known for their outrageous behavior and desire to be famous. In 2008, Heidi and Spencer got married in Mexico and just one year later, Heidi made headlines after announcing she would be undergoing 10 plastic surgeries at once.
"I love my body. I still feel a little fragile, but I've never felt more beautiful and sexier," Montag said after the surgery. "I didn't know I could have this much confidence. I see an upgraded version of me. It's a new face and a new energy. It's a new person and I feel like almost all of the things I didn't want to be and who I turned into kind of got chiseled away. So I'm very excited for the world to see the new me and a real me."
Speidi has stayed together through thick and thin, and this pregnancy was just what they needed to make their lives complete.
"The look on her face, I can't even describe it," Spencer said. "She was literally glowing. I thought she was about to say she made muffins or banana bread."
"Heidi has wanted to be a mom since the day I met her," Spencer said. "She has planned for and thought about this."
"I have never been more excited," Montag, 31, told Us Weekly. "The reality is sinking in that we are going to have a child! I've read every pregnancy book, and now I realize I don't know anything."
And now, their little bundle of joy is finally here!
"It was in my heart to have a boy," Montag gushed. "I thought Spencer really used to want a boy, and then a few months ago we had a conversation where he said, "˜Let's just make sure it's healthy. Boy or girl, I don't care.'"
On October 1st, 2017, Heidi and Spencer welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Gunnar Stone Pratt.
"Heidi and Spencer are proud parents of a healthy baby boy as of this afternoon," the couple's rep said.
"We are so blessed to have a beautiful healthy baby boy," Montag says. "It was the hardest and most rewarding experience."
Gunner was born at 3:06 p.m. He weighed in at 6 pounds, 12 ounces, and measured 19 inches long. There are no pictures of the newest Pratt yet, but we're sure they'll be here soon!
