Rescue Goat Is Only Calm When She's In Her Duck Costume

Rescue goat, Polly, has had a hard life.

She suffers from anxiety, as well as neurological problems which affect her eating habits, and often has panic attacks. Little Polly is also blind, which doesn't help with her anxiety.

Polly currently lives at Goats of Anarchy in New Jersey where they take great care of her. Recently, group owner Leanne Lauricella was shopping for Halloween costumes when she saw a cute duck costume she figured one of her animals could wear. She gave the costume to Polly, and it had an incredible affect on her.

Polly, who usually spends her days crying and running around the house if she can't find Leanne, is instantly calmed by her duck costume.

"She just calms down and goes to sleep," Lauricella said. "Instantly. It's become a thing that she's known for." Even during anxiety attacks.

The costume is also helpful when Lauricella needs to do errands but can't leave Polly at home. She puts Polly in her duck costume, and the little goat just snoozes the entire trip.

I think it's safe to say you won't see anything cuter all week than this goat in a duck costume. We're so happy Polly has found something to keep her at ease!
