Elvis's Sick Secrets Exposed

It's no secret that The King of Rock and Roll had an unquenchable appetite for food, drugs, expensive things- and not surprisingly- women and sex.

When Elvis stepped out on stage in the mid-1950s with his first hit song Heartbreak Hotel, it was no doubt that he was going to break the hearts of young women across the country.

Elvis's sex secrets were revealed in the new book, Elvis Presley: A Southern Life, by Joel Williamson.

Williamson, a Lineberger Professor Emeritus of the Humanities at the University of North Carolina, is the author of a number of landmark works on Southern culture and a Pulitzer Prize finalist.

Priscilla Beaulieu, later to become Priscilla Presley, met The King when she was just 14-years-old while her father was stationed on an army base in Germany.

That first night with Elvis, "he made love to her in every way short of penetration. It was as if Priscilla's virginity was another thing that Elvis strangely and sorely needed to maintain."

"He taught her how to make love in various ways short of full intercourse"...and wrote in her book, Elvis and Me, that she begged for the consummation of his love but he refused.

"He worked his art of foreplay without penetration. In lovemaking, as in entertaining, Elvis' outstanding talent was oral."

Priscilla wasn't the only one in his bed at the time. Find out who else he shared his bed with on the next page.

While he was with Priscilla he also had 19-year-old German, Elisabeth Stefaniak, who was his private secretary, in his bed.

Elvis's mother passed away in 1958 and that strengthened his desire never to sleep alone.

After he left Germany and went home to Memphis, he embraced the local beauty queen Anita Wood.

He also took up a trio of 14-year-old girls who were game for pillow fights, tickling, kissing and cuddling with 22-year-old Presley.

After finding out about the other women and a letter from Priscilla begging him to bring her over from Germany for a visit, Anita ended their relationship.

That is when Priscilla made a come back into his life again.

Elvis enjoyed role-playing in the bedroom. He and Priscilla would play nurse and patient games, sometimes introducing another girl into the bedroom.

In May 1967 Elvis and Priscilla were married in Vegas.

Only 1 year later, their marriage ended after the birth of their daughter Lisa Marie, because Elvis no longer found Priscilla attractive in the bedroom.

A flood of women followed, including Joyce Bova, a 25-year-old self-proclaimed virgin. This was appealing because this was "an impossible dream for Elvis who was obsessed with virginity".

After initially rejecting him because he was still married to Priscilla, she accepted the invite into his bed, after Elvis received a death threat.

Find out on the next page what women used to say about Elvis' skill in the bedroom.

Back at the hotel in Washington, Joyce Bova willingly gave up her virginity only to discover "˜he was not a tiger in bed after all'

When Joyce learned she was pregnant, Elvis told her that motherhood was sacred and sex between them would stop if she had the baby. She had an abortion and never told him.

He asked her to move into Graceland but she refused.

In spite of his famous sex appeal and strong sexual desire, Elvis was not great in bed according to some of the women he slept with.

"Elvis was skillful in the wooing process. When he wanted, he could make a girl - an audience of one - feel that she was the only one in the whole world for him," writes the author.

After sleeping with The King in 1972 Cybill Shepherd confessed that the sex was highly overrated.

Priscilla and Elvis ended their love affair officially, after he flew into a jealous rage and forced her to have sex with him.

"He grabbed me and forcefully made love to me', she wrote in her book. "˜It was uncomfortable and unlike any other time he'd ever made love to me before."

Red West, a devoted bodyguard was fired without severance wrote the book, Elvis: What Happened? to expose the dark side of the King.

There were many episodes written about him molesting and debauching very young girls, "engaging young girls to perform for him by mud wrestling in white panties, spying on couples have sex in one of his Hollywood houses by installing a two-way mirror in a bathroom."

The final woman to enter Elvis's life, would later find him dead in his bathroom from a drug overdose. Ginger wasn't young, but she did appear virginal and he was on board to help her family out financially.

After a call for medical help, the King dressed in his gold silk pajamas was gone.

There was no pulse. "˜Elvis was cold, unusually cold.' Ulysses Jones, an EMT sent out to the scene, said.
