Science has spoken!

September babies have a better chance at being successful than everyone else, and experts have got some compelling reasons for why this is.

People born in the month of September are usually described as "perfectionists," which probably adds to their drive towards success, but it's more than just that.

According to astrology, Virgos, who are mostly born in the month of September, are known to be very hardworking, organized, and committed to following their goals and dreams.

Take a look at Colonel Harland Sanders, Alibaba founder Jack Ma, Roald Dahl, Stephen King, and Agatha Christie. They are all successful individuals who were born in the month of September.

Coincidence? Science doesn't think so.

Scientists say the age a child starts school plays a huge role in their development. Babies born in September are usually the oldest in their class, so those extra months of development give them an advantage.

The reason for this is because many states use September birthdays as the cut-off for new students to enroll in kindergarten, so students born in late August may be the youngest of the class, while September kids will enroll the following school year, becoming the oldest.

The study found that September babies have a better chance at getting into a good college, achieving higher test scores, and are less likely to be incarcerated for crimes. Experts say they start to develop leadership roles early on, which allow them to succeed in anything they put their minds to.

They also discovered that the further a child's birth date got from September, there was a higher rate of college dropouts and incarcerations.

All that being said, September babies can't get too excited. Plenty of successful people were born in other months. For example, Albert Einstein was born in March, Warren Buffet was born in August, and Bill Gates was born in October. Also, socio-economic factors play a key role in the development of a child.

Still, there's a lot of reasons to celebrate! September babies have proven themselves to be special from time and time again, and finally science has shone a spotlight on these hardworking individuals.
