In a documentary short titled Ten Meter Tower, two Swedish filmmakers filmed 67 people standing at the top of a ten meter (33 foot) high dive.
They paid them $30 USD to climb to the top and leap off. It sounds simple, but it's actually riveting. You won't be able to take your eyes off of them as each person approaches the edge and looks down. Their nervousness is so real, you'll feel a sympathy twinge in your knees when theirs begin to shake.
The most interesting thing about this video is actually the story of Linus and Frida:
They've agreed to take the big jump together - one after the other:
But once they're up there, they have second thoughts:
They imagine the worst:
Until Frida offers to go instead...
Before he dives, Frida has one more thing to ask him...
And that's when he says it...
Find out what he says - watch their story from the beginning at 3:10.
