She Went On An Adventure, Then Her Instincts Kicked In

Outdoor cats are known to bring home some weird stuff. Dead animals, leaves, sticks, garbage, you name it.

But Claudia Wright was never expecting her cat to bring home a live kitten, that's for sure.

Wright's cat, Posey, was a stray who found her way to Claudia's house as a new mom with three kittens three years ago. Claudia adopted Posey and once the kittens grew up, they all found forever homes.

Now, no longer a stray, Posey likes to go on walks around the neighborhood. She must have missed being a Mama Cat, because she returned home with a 7-week-old kitten.

"I guess she missed having a baby around and found one," Wright said.

Posey presented the kitten, now named Meesy, to Claudia with no intentions of taking no for an answer. She wanted to care for this kitten. That was that.

"The kitten has never been seen around the neighborhood," Wright said. "I already verified the kitten isn't anyone else's. Meesy must have gotten separated from her mother and she and Posey may have just come across each other."

Tiny Meesy had to be bottle-fed, but Posey and Claudia helped her grow.

If she wasn't being hand-fed by Claudia, Meesy was cuddling with her new mama Posey.

As for a forever home for Meesy, Claudia doesn't seem to have much of a choice.

"They love each other," Wright said. "They've completely adopted each other."

Meagan has an intense love for Netflix, napping, and carbs.
