A school bus carrying elementary school children home from Chattanooga, Tennessee was involved in a deadly crash - killing six children and injuring nearly two dozen more.
Johnthony Walker, the 24-year-old driver, was taken into custody and faces five counts of vehicular homicide, reckless endangerment and reckless driving charges, said Chattanooga Police Chief Fred Fletcher.
In this heartbreaking tragedy, five children were killed instantly, while a sixth student died at the local hospital.
Although exact number of passengers is unknown, the children on the bus were in kindergarten to fifth grade, which put them between the ages of five and 10 years old.
Reuters reports that nearly two-dozen children were taken to hospital for their injuries and about three children are in critical condition.
As the investigation continues, pray for these children and their families!
