Steve Irwin's Daughter Finds Happiness After Family Tragedy

When Steve Irwin was tragically killed, the world was struck with immense sorrow.

Not only did we cry for his lost soul, but we thought of his family: a wife, two young kids, and parents he left behind.

The family remained strong, despite losing their wonderful Steve. And now, 10 years after his death, Steve's daughter Bindi is finding happiness.

Bindi Irwin, now 18 years old, has opened up about her amazing boyfriend, Chandler Powell. Powell is a professional wakeboarder.

"It's nice when you find somebody who's just endlessly kind and understands you and is really like-minded. I always get really excited," she told ET. "I'm really blessed and grateful to have him in my life. I think, I have my family and then Chandler has become a part of the family, so I'm happy with where I'm at."

Despite rumors that Bindi will be walking down the aisle soon (with Russell Crowe giving her away),  Bindi says she's not quite there yet.

"I don't think I'm at a point in my life where marriage and getting engaged is really a huge priority right now for me,' she said. 'Maybe in five years, but right now I'm really happy with where I'm at. I'm really happy with our relationship and I think we'll just continue to have fun,' Bindi explained. 'It's just nice to have someone there no matter what."

The couple have been together since 2013, and have been through a lot together. We're happy Bindi was able to find someone to make her happy despite losing her father at such a young age!

Stay well, Bindi!
