Have you ever had the situation where you make a bunch of waffles one day but you have a bunch left over? I sure haven't. But, if you do (or can manage to save yourself some) you can make these delicious Strawberry Brie Waffle Bites!
These would make for a fancy looking dish at brunch or even a good midnight snack because they are actually so easy to assemble. Try out these with your favorite waffle recipe (store bought waffles would work too) and make yourself some tasty bite sized treats!
- 6 Waffles
- 5 Strawberries
- 1 Brie cheese wedge
- 24 Toothpicks
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Place your waffles on a baking sheet and heat them for 5 minutes so they are all toasted.
While your waffles are in the oven, slice your strawberries.
Cut the rounded edges off your brie wedge.
And then cut the rest into 24 smaller square pieces.
Take your toasted waffles and cut each of them into four.
Now you are ready to start assembling your waffle bites!
Take a piece of waffle and top it with a piece of cheese.
Then add a slice of strawberry on top.
Use a toothpick to secure your treat and repeat until all your waffle bites are made.
Drizzle with syrup when you are ready to serve them and enjoy!
